“A world where all children have access to the medical care they need, and their families are fully supported and actively involved in their child’s care.” This is the Ronald McDonald House New York Metro Vision. Through generous donations RMHC NYM has provided support and resources to families around the world. Their programs include nutrition, education, and activities for siblings, in addition to housing, allowing for parents to stay close to their hospitalized child without the financial burden.

Sheer Science is proud to partner with a community of donors that are committed to making sure sick children don’t face the weight of illness alone. CEO Jon Greenhut has donated $25,000.00, giving families the greatest gift of all and the ability to focus on what’s most important, their children.

Jon recently sat down, via ZOOM, with RMHC New York Metro CEO, Matt Campo. They had a meaningful conversation that included Jon sharing his personal connection to this cause. “There is nothing more stressful than having a sick child.” Jon further expressed his commitment, his family's commitment, and the company’s commitment to giving back to the community. With his fortunate success comes the obligation to give back and support important charitable organizations. Jon and Sheer Science selected Ronald McDonald House for their programs that alleviate many financial challenges for families living through what is likely one of their most stressful situations.

There are many opportunities to give back, not all monetary.  From cooking meals, providing transportation assistance, collecting wish list items, or simply visiting and taking a tour. The generosity of donors, in all forms, allows for accommodations and programs for families of sick children who need them most. No longer are the days of traveling hundreds of miles per day for medical care. If you are interested in learning more about RMHC NYM or would like to make a donation, volunteer or help with so many non-clinical needs, please visit https://www.rmhcnym.org/sheerscience/. Together, we can do more.
